Spring into Health Party and Fundraiser

Wellspace invites you to the Spring into Health party to benefit the Integrative Medicine Alliance on Saturday night, May 22nd from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Wellspace Fresh Pond Mall in Cambridge. Come and treat yourself to:

  • Free mini-sessions with massage therapists and other holistic practitioners
  • Live music with acclaimed jazz guitarist Steve Carter
  • Free hors d’oeuvres and beverages
  • A beautiful space and good company
  • Prizes, free samples, and a great evening out…all for a good cause.

SEE THE IMA AT THE 8TH ANNUAL NORTH SHORE WELLNESS FAIR

Come visit the IMA’s booth at the 8th Annual North Shore Wellness Fair on Sunday, April 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the O’Keefe Center at Salem State College on 220 Canal Street in Salem. HEALTHY FOOD NETWORKING DINNER AND IMA FUNDRAISER

The event you’ve all been waiting for!  Meet other caregivers in the community and share stories, good food and a fun evening! New IMA member, David Snieckus will serve a delicious macrobiotic dinner for caregivers of all backgrounds on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Menu for this event includes: A Creamy Carrot Miso Soup, Roasted Organic Brown Rice with Almonds, Baked Tempeh with Savory Vegetables and Herbs, Various Cooked Greens in a Tofu Garlic Dressing, Pickled Napa and Mirin, and a dessert to "live" for: Raspberry Almond Tort Cookies.

 Our next board meeting will be held on Saturday, May 22nd from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Charles River Shiatsu School on 180 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington, MA.  The public is welcome to attend, parking available out back, and the school is T-accessible.  We’ll be discussing our membership drive and planning future IMA events.  For directions visit the school’s website at www.charlesrivershiatsu.com.
